The Summit will take place in the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library on the 28-29 of September. On the 27th of September, the “Day Zero” a session of Coordination Council on Advertising of the Interstate Council on Anti-monopoly Policy and the Interregional conference “Advertising Potential of Russia’s Regions and Support of National Commodity Producers” will be held on the premises of Lenexpo.

Aleksandr Govorunov has recently had a business meeting with the Summit Program Director Michael Lee devoted to the preparation of the business, educational and cultural programs of the event. In the words of the Organizing Committee: “St. Petersburg is mostly ready for the Summit. About 500 guests are expected – main experts from Russia and CIS countries, as well as from Europe, the USA and Asia. We hope that it will be interesting for the participants. An eventful agenda expects them.”

Representatives of the federal and local authorities, leaders of the international and Russian industrial associations and unions, heads of the market leading companies will meet at the Summit venue to discuss the impact of the macroeconomic factors on the future development of the communications industry, trends, perspectives and new strategies in the context of the situation that has evolved. In particular, the Summit participants will consider the current methods of cooperative solutions for the authorities and the business in order to increase both quality and efficiency of social communications, self-regulation mechanisms, trends of media and investment into the digital economy, will discuss the issues of brand of territories and its development, perspectives of the future of agencies, modern views on the creativity.

The Summit will be opened with a plenary session “Communications Industry: the Real Economy Sector. Analytics and Trends” with confirmed participation of Lucas BOUDET, Director General of the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA), Domenic Lyle, Director General of the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA), Aleksei Kovylov, President of the Russian Association of Communications Agencies.

Apart from the main business program much attention will be paid to the educational block of the Summit. As a part of the educational program the world’s best specialists will hold master-classes for students and young professionals in the leading universities of St. Petersburg, there also will be held a round table “Timely Actualization of the Professional Knowledge Architecture”, where the representatives of academic sphere and of the industry will answer the question on “How to build a professionalizing education model taking into account the daily emerging trends and innovative solutions in the sphere of ad and marketing communications?”
